This project is a quick one. Students paint a light or bright abstract background. I don't recommend dark colors because it would make it difficult to see the sharpie design. Then lets it dry. Then they sketch, with a pencil, the lemonade with a lemon slice, ice cubes, and a straw. I check it before students use the sharpie to make sure the proportions are correct, and they finish with a sharpie.
